How 28-day porta potty rental billing works
A 28-day rental is a four-week cycle, not a calendar month. This distinction matters when a Redding project runs beyond its first rental period or finishes sooner than expected.
The first payment can differ from the next
Delivery and a chosen rush charge may be collected with the first period. Later cycles can have a different recurring amount. Final removal may be billed separately. Read each line rather than assuming the first charge repeats.
Check the minimum rental period
A job lasting less than four weeks may still be quoted as one full 28-day cycle. Confirm the minimum period and whether unused time is refundable before approving the order.
Compare the three main charges
Write down the first-cycle total, recurring-cycle total, and final removal charge separately. Then check taxes, service frequency, and any optional fees. See historical examples and the quote checklist.
Ask what starts and stops billing
Confirm whether billing begins on delivery, how renewals are charged, and when pickup must be requested. Keep written confirmation of the agreed removal and billing end dates.
Keep the confirmation accessible
Save the quote, signed order, payment confirmation, and pickup instructions. If a project extends, confirm any rate or service change before the next cycle. If it ends, request removal and retain the confirmation.
